I built these tools so more people can read the European grid without a paywall. Dashboards stay free with an account. The Grid Bot is a gift to people who publish from their own site — not a product I sell.

    Create a free Compass account

    Sign up at Grid Compass. Dashboards are free once your email is verified.

  2. Step 2

    Register your site

    Sign in and register your site at /grid-intelligence/community. That page shows the personal join URL you will publish.

  3. Step 3

    Publish a post on that origin

    Write a post on that origin that links your personal join URL (shown when you sign in). A mention from any other site will not match.

  4. Step 4

    Wait for the owner to approve

    Once the mention arrives, wait for the owner. Approval is manual. There is no checkout and no automatic grant.

The point of this site is to share how European electricity markets and grids actually work. The bot is part of that library, not a shop window.

Why give the Grid Bot to the community?

Live TSO data is public. Understanding it should not depend on a sales page. I grant the bot to people who write from their own site so the knowledge stays in the open web, not behind a checkout.

How do I claim the Grid Bot?

1) Create a free Compass account. 2) Register your site at /grid-intelligence/community. 3) Publish a post on that origin linking your personal join URL. 4) Wait for a manual approve. People I already know can be granted in Clerk without a mention.

Do I have to pay?

No. There is no paid plan and no trial. A future voluntary donation on the support page will never buy or replace a grant. Donations will be optional gifts with no entitlement.

I used to subscribe — did I lose the bot?

If your account has the community grant flagged, you still have it. Paid AI subscriptions are retired. Historical invoices stay in the billing portal if you already had a Stripe customer record.

Why approve by hand?

A mention only proves the post came from the site you registered. I still decide. That keeps the bot off throwaway pages and off anyone pretending to be someone else.

How many questions do I get?

Fifty questions per calendar month once granted. Compass dashboards stay unlimited with a free account. Welcome credits on the Intelligence Hub still work; new credit packs are not sold.

Can I donate instead?

A donation path will open later on /support. It will help keep the servers and data feeds running. It will not purchase the bot, skip approval, or raise the monthly quota.
